NeeksTV Update:: April 30th, 2011

Hey y'all,
It's been a minute. The #EPICICECHALLENGE on YouTube has taken off with 10+ responses already and over 300 views. YouTube emailed us to ask if we are interested in Revenue Sharing on the video so we're pretty pumped about that! And it just started a week ago! Click here to watch the video and see the responses so far! We'll be making an update video this coming week so we can see where we're at.

Speaking of things that aren't important, the Royal Wedding was this morning... Okay, now back to things that matter. Along with the Ice Challenge Update, this week you can expect to see another NeeksTV Short titled "Letters to Barrack", which I hope to turn into a silly series of videos about our country's sad condition.
About two years ago, Joe and I wrote a song called "The Reading Rap". It was a song about how we both HATE reading with a passion, which is sad but true. Anywho, the idea got lost somewhere in my computer for literally two whole years when one morning, (the day that happened to be the anniversary of the day we wrote the song), Joe brought up recording it and finally posting it to YouTube as we had originally aspired to do. We are professionals in the field of slacking. But anywho, if you trust us not to slack tooooo much, you can expect to see the video within the next few weeks. We're working on the music video right now!
There are also a BUTT LOAD of skits on my computer waiting to be edited. The little .wmv's are sitting on the desktop yelling at me to edit them and upload them to YouTube, and my Desktop is yelling at me to clear it up. I'm hearing it from both ends! So expect some stellar stuff from us soon. Oh, and that's all not to mention the DOZENS of skit ideas we have written and will be acting out and filming once school ends on MAY 5th! Pretty excited about that. Education just gets in my way and steals my money. This summer is the summer of NEEKSTV. Get ready, YouTube. Change is Coming. <--Shut up Barrack.

NeeksTV News!

       Hey guys, it's Neeks! We started a blog!  The YouTube is doing AWESOME right now. We just hit 2,000 subscribers!!! That's like more than 1,000! Anyways, our fan base has been growing exponentially since May for some odd reason. I'd rather not question it though. As long as the subbers keep coming, I won't say a word. =P. We reached 1,000 in May. It took 2 and a half years to get there. All of a sudden, we reached 2,000 a short three months later. BOSS!
    In other news, Eddie moved to Florida this summer for college. That's a large part of the reason you haven't seen him in any videos lately. We miss him like crazy though and when he comes back for winter and summer break and whatnot, expect to see your long, yellow-haired friend on YouTube again. =).     Oh yea, andddd Brian made a car-mount for my 1983 Oldsmobile Delta 88. And what I mean by that is, we now have a sort of tripod that attaches to my car so we can get shots from the hood as we drive. That's why you've been seeing new videos like these:

Brian spent a LOT of time on that car mount and we gotta make a HUGE thank you! He was also the brains behind the "Hood Love Online Dating" video. Expect to actually see his face in some upcoming videos! We have a lot planned!
    One LAST thing, which I'm BEYOND excited about. Joey and I will be hosting a radio show on Wednesdays for Brookdale Student Radio. Our show is from 3pm to 5pm so you better tune in. And it's not local radio, it's web radio so guess what! You can listen to it where ever you are! Wednesdays 3-5! We're having a rough time thinking of a name so if you have any ideas, PLEASE feel free to comment or let us know. Right now we're thinkin' something like, Nico and A Cup of Joe.
